Artifact 1
This is artifact 1. It's included to show where I was at the start of the Poudre Press. I think this is important because it shows where my writing was at the start of being on the Poudre Press.

This article was the first one that I ever wrote for the Poudre Press. During the creation of the article, my website name was still Mountain Bikers of Poudre. Later on, I ended up changing it to Protocol Downhill.
​
I joined the Press because I wanted to get better at writing. With my time on the Press, I feel like I truly have grown as a writer. On my site, I mainly write about sports like skiing and mountain biking. Every now and then, I cover other sports, but it's mainly those two.

This is artifact 2. It's included to show where I was at the end of quarter one. ​ I think that this is a good article to use because it shows the progression of my writing.
This article was one of the articles that I did lots of research on. It shows four different ski resorts. These are from Wyoming, Colorado, British Columbia, and Utah.

This is artifact 3. It's included to show my work in covering an event for the Poudre Press. This was Varsity Tennis Regionals.

This article was one that took a little while to make because of the timing of Regionals. This was at end of October. This was hard to cover and remember all of the details because I was playing tennis for the team at the time.
This is an important one to me because I wasn't just covering the event but I was also playing in it. It was at this point that I desided that I was going to cover mainly sport related topics.
